About St. Paul's
Founded in 1892, St. Paul's Episcopal Church is a community of 275-plus families united in the worship of God through Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We are led in worship by Associate Rector the Rev. Matthew Greathouse and Assistant to the Rector Dr. David Rowe. Our Music Minister is Mrs. Angela Tipps, and our Youth Minister is Josh Courtney. Our Emeritus Rector, the Reverend Eugene Wise, Jr., retired January 31, 2007 and we are in the process of searching for a new rector.
Lay ministry is held up as a priority at St. Paul's, with ample opportunities for our parishioners to share their gifts and talents in ministry. We also have many opportunities for Christians to learn more about their faith through a variety of Bible study groups and study courses. St. Paul's offers Junior and Senior High Youth Groups, Annual Men's and Women's Retreats and a host of other programs to nurture community and spirituality. We also have a strong commitment to college students at the Middle Tennessee State University campus and maintain an ongoing Canterbury campus ministry.
